Has our language become so imprecise that words like “due” mean nothing?\u00c2\u00a0 Promises were clearly implied with the phrase “due date”, yet, is there a baby…no…well, I guess technically there is, its just firmly embedded in my belly.\u00c2\u00a0 Oh well.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess it just shows that my little one is far more patient than I am.\u00c2\u00a0 Adam and I are celebrating our due date this afternoon by attending (what will probably be our last for a while) happy hour.\u00c2\u00a0 Neither one of us drinks but the food deals are great.<\/p>\n
Adam and I discovered a great park close to our house yesterday during our after dinner walk.\u00c2\u00a0 After a few treacherous moments crossing the freeway, we found this beautiful oasis of green complete with a dog park, play field, and playground.\u00c2\u00a0 I love Seattle.\u00c2\u00a0 The entire walk took about an hour and a half and only one little contraction the entire time!\u00c2\u00a0 Its really weird knowing this major life-changing event is about to occur, but you have no idea when it is going to happen.\u00c2\u00a0 It could be weeks or it could be hours.\u00c2\u00a0 Planning things has become this roll of the dice.\u00c2\u00a0 “yes, I’d love to go to your concert tomorrow.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m absolutely free, unless I have a baby.”\u00c2\u00a0 Our Midwife told us that babies love to interrupt plans so the best thing we can do is plan as many things as possible.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m trying to take her advice, but its really not as easy as it sounds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
