I don’t think that my body was designed to carry a baby this long.\u00c2\u00a0 I feel like I’m falling apart.\u00c2\u00a0 I have a small understanding of what guys must feel when they get racked – every time I move at all my pelvis feels like it is on fire.\u00c2\u00a0 My hands and feet are getting more swollen and painful by the day, and my 8 trips an hour to the bathroom is really taking its toll on my knees.\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t complain too much, though.\u00c2\u00a0 There is a beautiful baby at the end of this tunnel.\u00c2\u00a0 Thor is loving this time.\u00c2\u00a0 He and I cuddle on the couch for hours, both contributing to the others lethargy in a way that only a sleeping cat can do.<\/p>\n

I had another “one last date night” last night to celebrate mother’s day.\u00c2\u00a0 Technically, I know that I am not a mother yet, but I should have been and my baby is just as old as many other babies that are out of the womb – I just didn’t have to hire a baby sitter.\u00c2\u00a0 Adam and I went to the Keg and had a wonderful meal – talked about where we want to travel and when (we are moving to Singapore at some point).<\/p>\n

I have to go to my 41 week midwife appointment.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe the baby will be so excited to see our doctor that it will spontaneously begin labor :)\u00c2\u00a0 I can hope…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
