I think that sleep deprivation is really beginning to affect Adam and I in subtle and not so subtle ways.\u00c2\u00a0 For example, Ilya had the strangest poop the other day (yes, I have become one of those mothers that can talk endlessly about her daughter’s poop).\u00c2\u00a0 It was crystallized.\u00c2\u00a0 Adam was changing her and rather than think “oh weird, Ilya has a strange poop” he actually asks me if I salted the baby’s butt.\u00c2\u00a0 Why yes, I find that a little salt goes a long way to those custard poop delights.\u00c2\u00a0 OK, that was a little gross – but hey I haven’t slept more than three hours in a row in weeks.<\/p>\n
We have our one month appointment with Dr. Christina today.\u00c2\u00a0 I swear, Ilya has gained about 10 pounds since the last time we saw her.\u00c2\u00a0 My back is still sore from carrying her around all day yesterday.\u00c2\u00a0 Anna and I are going to have a picnic in the park and walk around Greenlake before the appointment.\u00c2\u00a0 You might have realized that I am doing a lot of walking.\u00c2\u00a0 This is because I have realized that Ilya is either perfectly happy when I am walking with her in front of me or she is sleeping.\u00c2\u00a0 Either way its great.\u00c2\u00a0 I have never been so motivated to exercise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
