This isn’t so much fun anymore
Posted by lena on May 18th, 2008 filed in baby newsI am soooo over the whole contractions waking me up thing. I thought it was really exciting when that happened yesterday, but since going to bed last night, I have not been able to get more than 20 minutes of sleep at a time. Plus, Adam and I were watching episodes of The Office, so I keep dreaming about being on that show when a contraction wakes me up. Its kinda creepy.
So, I guess I’m in labor…yea……….
I guess I’m just waiting for these contractions to get closer together. Sometimes they are so bad I feel like I’m going to throw up – and I know they are only going to get worse…its a scary thought. I’m trying to let Adam sleep so that at least one of us is well rested tomorrow.

Congratulations on Baby Ilya (that is so pretty!) We are so happy for you! Lena, I am so impressed that you labored for as long as you did and hope that you are as proud of yourself as we all are of you. We can’t wait to see pictures because we can imagine how beautiful she is.
